AceShowbiz –
“Teen Mom” alum Ryan Edwards is currently behind the bars after being arrested last month for heroin possession and theft, leaving his wife Mackenzie Standifer devastated. Recently, Mackenzie took to Instagram to share a cryptic message that alluded to her “struggle.”
The Monday, February 4 Instagram Stories post saw Mackenzie sharing a quote by Brene Brown that read, “What we don’t need in the midst of struggle is shame for being HUMAN.”
It remains to be seen what struggle she’s referring to, but Edwards is set to continue to serve jail time for the next two and a half months. A judge previously ruled that the TV star’s case will be continued until April 15. “Yes, the Ryan Edwards case has been continued to April 15, 2019, and he is going to stay in county jail until then,” the Clerk of Court for Red Bank in Tennesee said.
In related news, one of Edwards’ charges has reportedly been dismissed. According to Radar Online, the Hamilton County General Session Clerk of Court revealed that his theft of service under $1,000 charge had been dismissed in a court that took place on Monday at 8:30 A.M.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Edwards was taken into custody in Hamilton County, Tennessee, on Wednesday, January 23 at 12:45 A.M. His bond was set on $500.
Edwards allegedly walked out of a bar without paying his $36 bill last month, prompting the bartender to call police. The Chattanooga Police Department confirms that a server at Bud’s Sports Bar on Brainerd Road filed a complaint against the star in December 2018. The bartender claimed that Ryan ordered “six Jack Daniels whiskey drinks” before leaving without paying them.
