Myke Towers is a proud father to a baby boy. On Wednesday, January 15, the Becky G collaborator for “Dollar” revealed that he and his girlfriend of eight years have welcomed their first child together as he debuted their bundle of joy on social media.

Making use of his Instagram account, the 26-year-old posted a snot of him holding his son on his left shoulder. The picture did not offer a clear look at the infant’s face, but it displayed the father-son duo in color-coordinated get-ups. He rocked a grey Lacoste sweatshirt and a green Boston Celtics baseball hat, while his kid sported a dinosaur-themed onesie.

Alongside the sweet snap, the MC whose real name is Michael Torres simply wrote, “Con mi yk #sl #hbd #mt #easymoneybaby.” However, he didn’t spill on any further details about his son’s birth date or his name.

In terms of the boy’s name, many speculated that he might be called Young King deriving from Myke’s October 2019 interview. When asked if he and his girlfriend have chosen a name for their boy, the rapper responded, “Yes, it’s the name of my favorite rapper.” He additionally teased, “My favorite rapper is from New York. I’m not saying anything else.”

During the interview with ET Live on the red carpet at the 2019 Latin American Music Awards, the Puerto Rican spitter also expressed his readiness to welcome his first child. “Every single day I’m [getting] advice, but I’m just waiting for him,” he enthused. “I’m ready for him. I’m ready.”

Myke joined the world of Latin music in 2016 with “El Final del Principio”. Three years after making his mark on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Album Sales chart with the debut album, he made it into the Hot Latin Songs chart with three songs, including “Si Se Da” that peaked at No. 11 in late August 2019.

On his future career plan, the reggaetonero has spilled in October 2019 that he aims to release a new album in 2020. “Before 2019 ends, we’re coming with an EP but in 2020, we’re coming with an album,” he said at the time.
