Joe Jonas has shared more details of his upcoming wedding with Sophie Turner, which is going to happen this year. The singer, who recently has reunited with his two brothers in the Jonas Brothers, talked about his plans for his big day when stopping by “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on Monday night, March 4.
“We’re getting married this year. We’re going to have a summer wedding,” he revealed the season he’s going to swap vows with the British actress. “I’m looking forward to it, it’s going to be a lot of fun,” he excitedly gushed.
Instead of a romantic one, Joe hinted that the celebration is going to be competitive with some sports events. “We’re going to have a flag rugby game at the wedding, and a flag football game. So if all the groomsmen show up with black eyes and broken arms, I’ll be very proud,” he jokingly said.
Asked what he learned to do from his brothers Kevin Jonas‘ and Nick Jonas‘ wedding, Joe opted to reveal what he learned not to do. “Well, they were both absolutely beautiful. All 18 of Nick’s was absolutely amazing,” he said, before poking fun at Nick’s multiple wedding celebrations. “I would say, stick to one. One and done,” he enthused.
He also mused, “So for Kevin, Kevin had a snowstorm during his wedding, so maybe don’t get married in December.”
Also during their visit to “The Late Late Show”, the Jonas Brothers talk about their reunion. The group, who ended their six-year hiatus with their new song “Sucker” earlier this month, is also gearing up for the premiere of their new documentary on Amazon that will “track” everything from their childhood, the band’s original run (2005-2013) and to where they are “today.”
Nick said that it was during the filming of the documentary that they came up with the idea of the band’s reunion.
A premiere date for the documentary has not been announced yet.
