Carrie Fisher Suffers Heart Attack While On Plane

Carrie Fisher suffered a heart attack while aboard a plane to Los Angeles on Friday, NBC News has confirmed.

An LAX officer confirmed to Access Hollywood that at around 12:15pm on Friday, air officers responded to a female in cardiac arrest at United terminal 3. She was then transported to a local hospital.

“Medical personnel met United flight 935 from London to Los Angeles upon arrival today after the crew reported that a passenger was unresponsive,” United Airlines said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
