The ‘Gone Girl’ actress has been slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit filed by a shutterbug after she uploaded a picture of herself on her social media.
AceShowbiz –
Model and actress Emily Ratajkowski is facing a federal lawsuit from a paparazzo after allegedly posting a photo of herself online without permission.
Snapper Robert O’Neil claims the “Gone Girl” beauty violated his copyright by reportedly uploading an image he had taken of her on the streets of New York, where Ratajkowski was pictured holding a bunch of flowers up to cover her face.
The shot is said to have recently appeared on the 28 year old’s Instagram Story timeline, and was captioned, “Mood Forever.”
According to court papers obtained by The Blast, O’Neil is now suing Ratajkowski and officials at her company, Emrata Holdings Inc., for damages.
The model has yet to respond to the legal action, but she is the latest to be sued for allegedly lifting paparazzi pictures to share on social media without authorisation. Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, and Gigi Hadid have also been hit with copyright infringement lawsuits over photos they shared of themselves via Instagram in recent months.
